My sister and I really love reading as much as we love boys
(bad metaphor). We like to read since we were very little. I think it because
of my grandpa, he was a teacher and has a lot of cool books and always told us
interesting story every day. We admire him so much! At first, I like to read
mangas or comics and something that have illustration or some pictures in it, and
then I share it to my sister (17 months younger than me) and I think I am the person
who infects her to read.
But, I quit reading for couple years. I don’t know why, it doesn’t
like I am busy or something. You know, when you grow up, you find many things
engage you. You need to finish university, and prepare to find job, you need to
find out who you are, hang out with your friends before you getting old or lost
contact and never see them again, and some stuffs that you never expect to
experience, et cetera. I don’t like to grow up, but frankly, I or everybody
must grow up. Anyway, there is a quote that I got from actual advice mallard
(stuff from 9gag.com - I got addicted to it) it says “Be an adult when you have
to be, Be a kid when you can be”. I also have a dream, that someday I will be
badass mother for my child and cool, wise, and also badass grandmother for my
grandchildren.
So, when I went to the book store or saw a book that got me
interested in, I bought it, but I didn’t read it. Unlike me, my sister still
loves it. She bought a lot of books and she can read it flash. And then she
will ask me to read after her, and me just like nodding head and said “okay”
but never did it. We have so many books, especially novel. You know why I
sometimes feel like don’t want to let people to borrow my books? Because they
cannot take care the book, for instance they like fold book instead of using
something safety to mark their read, but you know what I hate the most? People
who doesn’t bring back my book and they’re just gone. I lost so many books from
irresponsible person.
So these are books that I am not read, yet. Some of them are
mine, and some are my sister’s. These are written by Tere Liye, He really famous, My sister
is like huge fans of him. She has almost all of his books. I also love his
books, and I think I’ll read it but not now.
And
you must be familiar with these. Yups! Hunger games trilogy. I don’t feel like
want to read it because I already watched the movie (and wait for the mocking
jay part 2, I hate it when a good movie ending divided part by part. Not clever!)
This books made by Lisa McMann. At first, I really have no idea
this would be trilogy. When I read “Wake” she got me, I let her in. But in the
end of the page I saw the word I hate “to be continued..” dayum! I have to find
the sequel! Then when I find it, I read for 10 pages or more, but then I got
curious to open the last page, wish I don’t see the words I hate, but you know,
life is hard and you cannot always get what you want. So, I and my sister
decide to find the last part of it before I continue to read. She really got
excited, and we went to book store, and geez! We cannot find it, but then miracle
comes. It the last book left in the shell. So, she bought that book for me as a
gift because I continue to read, but the real thing is I don’t touch it yet
until now, but this story is really interesting, maybe I’ll read it in my
leisure time.
And then these are the book that I find it “I’ll read it but
not now”
And these are the opposite “I’ll read it if I have time”
But a week ago, I decided to read this one. I find it really
attractive, it’s like it tease me. So I read it, and my sister like “Uhm… you
reading?” and then I said “Yeah.. Why? Do we have a problem?”
But seriously, this is a good book! with simple story, but complicated
feelings and the special thing is the way she elaborate it.. awesome! It’s
Lingkar from Kiki Raihan. Good job!
